One of the most recognized feminist in U.S history is Alice Paul. She helped give women the right to vote.
Not only that she was known as one of the leading feminist, she received many harsh criticisms.
One of the reasons why is because she was avidly pro-life. She was once quoted as saying:
“Abortion is the ultimate exploitation of women” [1].
This is the exact reason why so many women are pro-life. They believe that abortion is a major mistreatment of women.
Paul was a fierce advocate for the better treatment of women.
In large part because of the efforts of herself and others, women now have the same rights as men when it comes to voting and work.
However, women are still being mistreated with regards to abortion. The term “reproductive rights” is merely a weak disguise to hide the damage inflicted by abortion.
While some pro-choice believe abortion is setting women free, it actually holds them down. This is true not only because of the physical and psychological harm from abortion, but also because it makes them feel that they cannot handle a pregnancy.
Alice Paul is a woman that many can look up to.
