Planned Parenthood: Separating Women From Their Families

Many of those who are pro-choice also express a great deal of support for Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider.

However, what many people do not seem to realize is that Planned Parenthood generally does not have the best interests of women foremost in their minds.

One post-abortive woman, Dr. Alveda King (niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.), said of her abortion experience…

“And the reason why I bought into the abortion lie was because Planned Parenthood had convinced me not to talk to my family, not to pray about it and talk to God about it, not to talk to my support system as it were”

Unfortunately, this type of testimony is all too common among post-abortive women.

Over the past several years, it has become increasingly clear to Americans that Planned Parenthood is most interested in selling their most profitable service – abortion.

If they were really interested in helping these women, they would be much more interested in counseling women, making sure they are comfortable with the decision to abort their preborn children, and fully informing them of all known risks regarding abortion.

Instead, the abortion industry’s strategy is exactly as this quote implies – to keep women from thinking through their decision at all.
